Norbert's Flat Stanleys found its way to a woman in California whose husband knows Ty Pennington, the host/carpenter of the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" TV show. "The children love getting the postcards at school and seeing where Stanley has been." That person then sends him on to someone in a new city, along with the instructions.
